Privacy policy

This policy explains how Presence (“Presence”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit presence-agency.com, use our clipper platform at app.presence-agency.com, book a call, run a clipping campaign with us, or join our clipper network.

It is the single privacy policy for all of Presence: the website and the clipper platform are the same service, run by the same controller, under this one document.

We act as the data controller for the information described below. If any part of this policy is unclear, contact us before using the site or our services.

Company registration details will be added here once confirmed. Until then, the contact route below is the way to reach us about anything in this policy.

We collect only what we need to run campaigns and improve the site:

Information you give us — name, email, company, social handles, and campaign goals shared through our contact form or by email.

Campaign data — the source content, accounts, and performance figures tied to your clipping campaign.

Clipper data — for network members, payout information plus the clips and view counts you produce.

Usage data — pages visited, referrer, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Our clipper platform runs at app.presence-agency.com. Clippers sign in there with Discord or Google, and we receive the name, email address, and avatar held by that provider.

Inside the platform, a clipper can connect a social account — TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram — through that platform’s own official authorisation flow. We request read access only. For TikTok, the scopes we request are user.info.basic (account identifier, display name, avatar), user.info.profile (username and profile link), and user.info.stats (public counts such as followers, likes, and videos).

We use that information for three purposes and no others: confirming that the clipper owns the account they connect, displaying the connected account on their profile so campaign owners can identify them, and attributing and measuring the views of the clips submitted to a campaign. We never publish, modify, or delete anything on a connected account.

Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted on our servers, are never exposed to your browser or to other users, and are used only to call the platform APIs for the purposes above.

Data obtained from TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram is never sold, never used for advertising or profiling, and never shared with anyone beyond the hosting and database providers that operate the platform under a data processing agreement.

You can disconnect a social account at any time from the Accounts page of the platform, or revoke our access from the platform’s own settings (on TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions). Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens and the profile data pulled from that account. To delete your entire Presence account and everything attached to it, write to contact@presence-agency.com and we will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Your data is used to: respond to enquiries and scope a campaign proposal; produce, distribute, and analyse your clipping campaign; pay clippers and administer the network; keep the site secure and measure its performance; and send service-related information and — only with your consent — occasional marketing communications.

We never sell your personal data.

Where the GDPR applies, we process data on the basis of contract (to provide the services you asked for), legitimate interest (to keep the site secure and improve it), consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).

We share data only with the providers who help us operate — hosting, analytics, email, payments, and the social platforms where clips are distributed. Each one is bound by a data processing agreement and may use the data only on our instructions.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, and the public.

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete or anonymise it. Campaign and billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@presence-agency.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because our clipper network spans more than 40 countries (as published by Presence · pending verification), your data may be processed outside your region. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect it.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted providers to protect your data. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we review our practices regularly and will notify you and the competent authority of any breach as the law requires.

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Significant changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
